Wayne Central Elementary School PTO Hosts Community Turkey Giveaway
The Wayne Central School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is proud to announce its annual Community Turkey Giveaway, happening Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. — and continuing until all items are gone.
This initiative is part of the PTO’s ongoing commitment to support families and bring a little extra warmth to local households ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. The event will be held on the Wayne Central School campus, and all community members are invited to participate.
In the spirit of giving, the PTO is also inviting local businesses, organizations, and individuals to contribute. If you would like to donate a turkey or additional food items, please contact Wayne Central School to arrange a drop-off or pickup. Every donation helps ensure that more families can enjoy a holiday meal together.
“This is about community and compassion,” said a representative of the Wayne Central School PTO. “We know that times are tough for many, and every act of kindness makes a difference.”
The Wayne Central School PTO encourages everyone to come early, lend a helping hand, or simply spread the word. Together, we can make this Thanksgiving season a little brighter for our neighbors.
